It is no secret to anyone that, in the era of globalization in which we live today, the Arab youth are facing a dilemma between keeping up with scientific and technological developments of the twenty-first century, and their implications of risks and complications that might threaten their Arabic identity; therefore, “Fikr” conference has adopted many of youth initiatives to be a bridge for the transfer of young people votes and their concerns to the leaders, the decision-makers and the intellectuals in the Arab world. Thus, the lack of attention to youth issues and Arab culture will make them prisoners in the wheel of contemporary Western culture, which cause the loss of their Arabic identity and the privacy of their society and culture.
From here, the Arab Thought Foundation believes that Arab youth, and thanks to their enormous capacity, enthusiasm and willpower, are able to succeed in the future and to participate in changing the world for the better, through the improvement of Arab societies and the contribution to the progress at the global level, in spite of numerous economic, political and social constraints.
Youth Programs
“Youth Café” is one of our leading youth-oriented programs, which is a platform for dialogue between Arab youth, dealing with their social, intellectual and cultural cases.
The Electronic Youth Arab Network “EYAN” is a core international youth body in many Arab countries, combining the new generations and contributing to the networking between them.
